The Center for Applied Finance is committed to the advancement of the study and application of finance. The Center:
- Manages the trading floor of the Williams College of Business
- Maintains and trains students, faculty, and affiliates on the Center's Bloomberg platforms, Morningstar system, Research Insight, and other data, news, search, and analytical systems.
- Conducts research in finance and financial economics
- Facilitates the research of the faculty and students of the Williams College of Business
- Promotes and sponsors financial education, research, continuing education, and professional development through a speaker series, economic and investment forums, workshops, and executive education
